Plans & Billing Overview

How does the free trial work?

Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial on the tier you selected. You get full feature access during the trial, but recording hours and Ask Your Meetings (Chat) usage are limited to 25% of your plan's normal monthly allotment for that week. On day 8, your payment method is charged automatically and you move to full, unthrottled usage — the reduced trial metering never applies again.

What happens if I don't upgrade or cancel during the trial?

If you don't cancel, your card is charged automatically on day 8 and your subscription begins. If you cancel before then, you're not charged, and your account drops to the FREE tier instead.

What is the FREE tier?

FREE isn't a plan you can sign up for directly — it's the state your account lands in if you cancel during your trial or otherwise cancel your subscription. It is more limited than the other tiers: 1 Teamspace, 1 member per Teamspace, 5 recording hours per month, no Ask Your Meetings (Chat) access, and a fixed 31-day retention period.

What plans does Meetingz.ai offer?

Six paid tiers, from entry-level through Enterprise: STARTER, FOUNDER, PROFESSIONAL, PREMIUM, BUSINESS, ENTERPRISE — plus the FREE landing tier described above, as well as a limited-time Founding Member offer (which provides Professional-tier features at the Founder price point, with one Teamspace instead of Professional's two). See the Plans page for current pricing and features on each paid tier. See your plan on the Billing page and switch between them on the Plans page.

What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?

Annual billing saves 18% compared to paying month-to-month. Switch between billing cycles on the Plans page.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Go to Billing & Plans → Plans, find the plan you want, and click Upgrade. Follow the prompts to confirm and complete payment. Upgrades take effect immediately, and the remainder of your current billing period is prorated.

How do I downgrade my plan?

Go to Billing & Plans → Plans and click Downgrade on a lower-tier plan. Review the confirmation carefully — downgrading may remove access to features you currently use. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel from the card for your active subscription on the Plans page, or via Change plan on the Billing page. Confirm when prompted.

What happens to my data and features when I cancel or downgrade?

Your plan's features stay active through the end of your current billing period. At the end of that period, your account reverts to FREE, and your retention policy resets to FREE's 31-day default — even if you had a longer period configured. Download anything you need to keep before your billing period ends. (Cancelling during your 7-day trial is different: you drop to FREE immediately, at no charge.)

How do I update my payment method?

Click Manage billing on the Billing page. This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can update your payment details.

Where can I find my invoices?

Click Manage billing on the Billing page to open the Stripe portal. Invoices are available there for download.

What usage does Meetingz.ai track?

Three metrics: Teamspace Count, Recording Hours, and Ask Your Meetings (Chat), each tracked per Teamspace with a Buy more option once you're close to your included allowance.

What is auto-refill?

Auto-refill automatically purchases additional recording hours when your Teamspace's balance runs low. It's on by default and can be toggled in Teamspace Settings → Billing.

What are add-ons?

Add-ons let you purchase additional capacity beyond your base plan (e.g., Additional Teamspace - $99/mo per Teamspace).
