Account Management Overview

What is the difference between an account and a Teamspace?

An account is the top-level organizational unit — it holds all of your Teamspaces, users, and billing. A Teamspace is the environment where meetings are recorded and shared. A single account can contain multiple Teamspaces, each with its own members and settings.

Who is an Account Owner?

An Account Owner has full administrative access across the account — they can manage all Teamspaces, users, and billing. The Account Owner role is assigned per user via Account → Users. There can be multiple Account Owners.

What can each Teamspace role do?

Every Teamspace member holds one of three roles:

  • Admin — Full Teamspace management

  • Analyst — Edit & re-send digests; no Teamspace admin

  • Member — View and summarize own meetings

Admins have full access to every page within a Teamspace. Analysts and Members both see only the Meetings section (Dashboard, Upcoming, Library, Chat) — Account & Teamspaces and Billing & Plans aren't visible to either. Within Meetings, Analysts and Members see the same content, with one exception: Analysts can edit and lock meeting digests; Members can only view them.

How do I add a new team member?

Invite them to the relevant Teamspace(s) via Teamspace Settings → Members → Invite member. See [Managing Your Team] for the full walkthrough.

Can a user belong to more than one Teamspace?

Yes. A user can be a member of multiple Teamspaces within the same account, each with a different role if needed. Manage this from Teamspace Settings → Members for each Teamspace, or review all assignments from Account → Users.

How do I remove a team member?

Remove them from each Teamspace they're in — via either the Users page or that Teamspace's Settings → Members tab.

Can I have multiple Teamspaces in one account?

Yes. Each plan includes a set number of Teamspaces, but there's no hard cap beyond that — create new Teamspaces from Account → Teamspaces as needed.

Can I rename a Teamspace?

Yes. Go to Teamspace Settings → General for the Teamspace and update the Teamspace name field. Click Save. Note that the parent account name is different from the Teamspace name and can't be changed from within the app — to update it, email the Client Care team at support@meetingz.ai.

What happens to meetings if I delete a Teamspace?

Deleting a Teamspace permanently removes all meetings, recordings, transcripts, and associated data in that Teamspace. This cannot be undone. Make sure you've downloaded any recordings or transcripts you need to keep before deleting.

Can I transfer meetings between Teamspaces?

No, this isn't supported.

How do I change which account a Teamspace belongs to?

There's no direct self-service migration of a Teamspace between accounts. In practice, if you need one, invite the relevant members to a new Teamspace under the correct account — note this doesn't carry over the original Teamspace's meeting history, so treat it as a fresh start rather than a move.
