AI Chat

Chat (currently BETA) is an AI-powered question-and-answer interface that lets you query your meeting data using natural language. Ask questions about what was discussed, decided, or agreed across your recorded meetings, and get answers grounded in your actual transcripts.

How it works

Chat uses the transcripts and Digest Reports from your recorded meetings as its knowledge base. When you ask a question, it finds relevant content across your meetings and synthesizes an answer, citing the source meeting where applicable. The subtitle under the Chat header reads: "Ask questions about your Teamspace's meetings. Answers are grounded in transcripts and summaries."

Using Chat

Prompt suggestions

Before you've asked anything, Chat shows "Ask a question to get started. Try one of these:" followed by three example prompts:

  • "What did we decide about the timeline?"

  • "Summarize action items from last week"

  • "Who owns the launch checklist?"

This appears even before your Teamspace has any meeting data, alongside the input box ("Ask a question about your meetings...") and Send button. Click any suggestion to populate the input field; you can then send it as-is or edit it first.

Asking a question

Type your question into the input field and press Send or hit Enter. Meetingz.ai will process your query and return a response.

Interpreting responses

Grounded answers include a collapsible Sources block showing which meeting(s) the response drew from — expand it to verify the source or navigate directly to the relevant meeting detail page for more context.

Tips for good results

  • Be specific about the topic or time period you're asking about (e.g., "What did we decide about pricing in last week's meetings?")

  • If you're looking for a specific person's comments, include their name in your query

  • Chat works best when your Teamspace has a library of recorded meetings with transcripts

Notes

  • Chat is only as good as your transcript coverage. Meetings without transcripts cannot be queried.

  • If no relevant transcripts exist for your query, Chat will say so rather than fabricating an answer.

  • Conversation history is maintained within your current session.
