FAQ — Authentication Overview

How do I log in to Meetingz?

There are two ways to sign in:

  • Magic Link (the default) — enter your email address on the login page and you'll receive an email with a secure, one-time login link. Click it to be signed in automatically. No password needed.

  • Password — enter your email and password directly, if you've set one up.

You can also add two-factor authentication (2FA) on top of either method. Which combination you use is up to you.

Do I need to set a password?

No — Magic Link works with no password at all, and it's the default. If you'd rather sign in with a password, you can create one (or change an existing one) any time from your profile Settings tab, alongside 2FA setup.

I didn't receive a login email. What should I do?

Check your spam or junk folder first. If it's not there, try requesting a new magic link. Make sure you're using the email address associated with your Meetingz account. If the problem persists, contact your Account Owner or Meetingz support.

My magic link isn't working.

Magic links expire after a short period for security reasons. If your link has expired, return to the login page and request a new one.

Can I stay logged in between sessions?

Yes — your session persists unless you explicitly sign out. To sign out, click your profile icon in the top right and select Sign out.

How do I sign out?

Click your profile icon in the top navigation bar and select Sign out from the dropdown.

Can I use Meetingz on multiple devices?

Yes. Concurrent logins across multiple tabs or devices are fully supported — log in wherever you are, whenever you need to.

Does Meetingz support two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Yes — set it up from your profile Settings tab. Choose either an authenticator app or email one-time passcode (OTP). 2FA works alongside either sign-in method, Magic Link or Password.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Sign in with Magic Link instead — it doesn't require a password. Once you're in, you can set a new password from your profile Settings tab if you want to keep using password sign-in.

I've been invited to a Teamspace but can't log in.

Make sure you're using the same email address the invitation was sent to. If you haven't received an invitation email, check your spam folder or ask your Account Owner to resend the invite. Once you've accepted the invitation, sign in with Magic Link or Password as usual.

I'm locked out, and my Account Owner or Teamspace Admin reset my login. What now?

A Reset login clears your existing password and 2FA enrollment entirely. Sign back in using Magic Link, then set up a new password and/or 2FA from your profile Settings tab if you'd like to use them going forward. See [Managing Your Team] for who can trigger a reset.
