This guide covers your 14-day trial, how to review your current plan, change plans, manage payment details, and understand your usage.
Your 14-day trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial on the tier you selected at signup:
Full feature access — every capability feature on your selected tier is available, unrestricted.
Metered usage is reduced during the trial. Recording hours and Ask Your Meetings (Chat) queries are available at 50% of your plan's normal monthly allotment — the trial is roughly half a month, so you get roughly half the monthly amount. A plan with 80 recording hours per Teamspace per month gives you 40 trial hours per Teamspace, for example.
Day 15: your payment method is charged automatically, and your account converts to full, unthrottled allotments from that point forward. The trial's reduced metering never applies again.
Cancel before day 15 and you won't be charged — your account drops to the FREE tier instead (see "What happens if I cancel" below).
Viewing your current plan

Changing your plan
Upgrading
Click Change plan on the Billing page, or navigate directly to Billing & Plans → Plans.
Use the Monthly / Annual toggle to choose your preferred billing cycle — annual saves 18%.

Follow the confirmation steps.
Upgrades take effect immediately, and the remainder of your current billing period is prorated.
Downgrading
Navigate to Billing & Plans → Plans.
Click Downgrade on the lower-tier plan.
Review the confirmation carefully — downgrading may remove access to features currently in use.
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Managing payment details
Click Manage billing on the Billing page to open the external billing portal (Stripe). From there you can:
Update your credit card or payment method
Download invoices and receipts
View your full billing history
Understanding usage
The Usage section on the Billing page tracks three metrics: Teamspace Count, Recording Hours, and Ask Your Meetings (Chat) — each per Teamspace, with a Buy more option once you're close to or past your included allowance.
Auto-refill
Auto-refill of recording hours is available at the Teamspace level (Teamspace Settings → Billing) and is on by default. When enabled, additional hours are purchased automatically when your balance runs low.
Add-ons
Add-ons let you purchase additional features or capacity beyond your base plan, split between account-level and Teamspace-level:
Account add-ons — currently Additional Teamspace, $99/mo each, applying across the whole account.
Teamspace add-ons — apply to specific Teamspaces only; shown once available.
What happens if I cancel
Canceling an active paid subscription: your plan's features remain active through the end of your current billing period. At the end of that period, your account reverts to FREE — and your retention policy resets to FREE's 31-day default, even if you had a longer period configured. Download anything you need to keep before your billing period ends.
Canceling during your 14-day trial: you're not charged, and your account drops to FREE immediately.
A few things now reflect this accurately across the app: the Plans page stops marking your lapsed plan as "Your current plan" and shows a notice explaining your account's state, the Billing page keeps a record of your previous plan and when it ended, and features your plan doesn't include are hidden rather than failing when you try to use them. If you re-subscribe, it works end to end and restores your plan's limits and features across your workspaces.
Before canceling: Review your retention settings (Teamspace Settings → Retention) and download anything you'll need, given retention shortens to 31 days once you're on FREE.
