Use the AI for Outcomes, Not Transcripts

Modified on Thu, 5 Mar at 12:21 PM

  1. The goal isn’t to capture everything. It’s to capture what matters. AI notetakers are most valuable when they focus on:

    1. Decisions made

    2. Actions agreed to

    3. Who owns what

    4. Why something was decided (context)

  2. What to avoid:

    1. Treating the output like a word-for-word diary

    2. Forwarding raw transcripts to people who weren’t there

  3. Best practice:

    1. Skim the summary.

    2. Ask: “If someone read only this, would they know what to do next?”

    3. If the answer is no, fix it.
