What's new: You can now upload a recording or transcript of a meeting that already happened, and Meetingz will turn it into a Digest Report, the same way it does for meetings your Scribe records live.

Use Upload when your Scribe wasn't in the meeting: an in-person meeting you recorded on your phone, a call on a platform the Scribe doesn't join, or a past meeting you want in your Teamspace's history.

What you can upload

• Video/Audio files (with audio) — mp4, m4a, mp3, wav, flac, ogg, webm (media) or vtt, srt, txt, json (transcript)

• Transcripts — plain text (TXT)

Video and audio files can be up to 2 GB and up to 8 hours long. Transcripts can be up to 10 MB. 

How to upload

1. Go to the Dashboard and click Quick add meeting.

2. Choose Upload.

3. Select your audio, video, or transcript file.

4. Wait for the upload to finish. Keep the page open, and on a phone keep your screen awake until it's done — if your device goes to sleep, the upload can fail.

5. Meetingz processes the file and creates the meeting, with its Digest Report, in your Teamspace.

After you upload

The uploaded meeting appears in your Library alongside your recorded meetings, with the same Digest Report sections: Summary, Takeaways, Next Steps, and Discussion Topics. You can edit, lock, regenerate, and send the digest just like any other meeting. If you uploaded a video or audio file, the recording and a timestamped transcript are available on the meeting detail page. Processing time varies.

If an upload fails

The meeting shows an error status explaining what went wrong. Check the file type and size, make sure your connection is stable, and try again. If it keeps failing, email the Client Care team at support@meetingz.ai.
