Understanding Your Meetings - Overview

Once your Teamspace's Scribe has recorded a meeting — or you've uploaded one — there's a lot you can do with it. This guide walks through how to find, review, and get the most out of your meeting content.

Where to find your meetings

Dashboard

The Dashboard shows today's meetings and a list of recent meetings. It's the quickest place to find something from today. Canceled meetings are hidden from the Recent Meetings panel by default — see "Meeting statuses" below.

Upcoming

Use Meetings → Upcoming to see scheduled meetings that haven't happened yet. Filter by date range or meeting type (recurring vs. one-off). Canceled meetings are hidden by default here too — turn on the Show canceled toggle to include them.

Library

Use Meetings → Library to browse completed, recorded meetings. Filter by date range (including Yesterday and Last week) and meeting type. This is the main destination for reviewing past meetings, including meetings you've uploaded. Canceled meetings are hidden by default — turn on Show canceled to include them.

All Meetings

Meetings → All Meetings shows every meeting in the Teamspace, past and future, in a single chronological list. It has one filter: the Show canceled toggle — canceled meetings are hidden by default here too, same as Upcoming and Library. Useful when you're looking for a specific meeting and aren't sure of the date.

Uploaded meetings

If your Scribe wasn't in a meeting, you can still add it to your Teamspace by uploading an audio file, video file, or transcript from Quick add meeting on the Dashboard. Meetingz creates a Digest Report from the upload, and the meeting appears in your Library like any other. See [Uploading a Meeting] for supported files and step-by-step instructions.

Reading a meeting detail page

Click any meeting to open its detail page. Here's what you'll find:

Metadata

Date & Time (shown in both the organizer's timezone and yours), Status, Platform, Source, Organizer, Teamspace, meeting URL, and whether the meeting is recurring. Source shows as uploaded. A Force Join button is also available while a meeting is in progress — it warns first, since a bot may already be present, that using it launches a fresh bot and may duplicate the recording.

Invitees

A collapsible section listing everyone who was invited to the meeting.

Recording & Transcript

A video player with native controls, alongside a timestamped, speaker-labeled transcript. Use the transcript to:

  • Find exactly what was said at a specific moment

  • Quote from a meeting accurately

  • Search for a particular topic or phrase within a meeting

Download the transcript as a TXT file using the Download TXT button.

Digest

The AI-generated digest is organized into four sections: Summary, Takeaways, Next Steps, and Discussion Topics — each with its own Edit link. Digest actions include Lock, Regenerate (replaces the digest outright, with confirmation), and Send (for manually delivering a digest, with control over which sections to include and who receives it).

Who can do what: Admins and Analysts can edit and lock digests. Members can view digests but can't edit or lock them.

Using Chat to query your meetings

The Chat feature (currently BETA) lets you ask natural language questions across your entire meeting library. Instead of searching meeting by meeting, you can ask things like:

  • "What did we decide about the product roadmap last week?"

  • "Summarize what [person] said about the budget in recent meetings."

  • "Which meetings covered the topic of [X]?"

Chat draws on transcripts from all recorded meetings in your Teamspace and shows a collapsible Sources block so you can verify and dig deeper.

Meeting statuses

A meeting can show one of eight statuses: Scheduled, Launching, Active, Finished, Processed, Canceled, Rescheduled, Failed. Canceled meetings are hidden by default across the Dashboard, Upcoming, Library, and All Meetings — use each view's Show canceled toggle to include them.

Notes

Meetings only appear in the Library once they have been fully processed. Processing typically completes within 90 seconds.

Partial recordings are possible — your Scribe records whatever it's present for. If it's accidentally removed from a meeting or denied entry, use the Force Join button on that meeting's detail page to have it rejoin.

If the bot didn't join (e.g., wasn't invited, or there was a platform error), the meeting may appear with a Failed status and no recording or transcript. If you have your own recording of that meeting, you can upload it instead — see [Uploading a Meeting].

Teamspace members can only see meetings in Teamspaces they belong to.
